Danni + Jordan | Hawaiian Destination Wedding | Part 1/2

In August of 2016, we had the pleasure of capturing our real, first destination wedding in Hawaii. This is part 1 of 2 - the next blog post will feature their California Desert Reception!

First off, we would like to give a huge shoutout to Jordan + Danni and ALL of their family and friends who served us so graciously and kindly and allowed us to experience this amazing day.

Jake and I had strong desires to go back to Hawaii (where we celebrated our one year anniversary) but didn't think it would work out this last year. That's when Danni messaged me and told me their original wedding venue (by our homes in CA) wasn't going to work out anymore and they had plans of finding one in Hawaii. WHAT?! I was trying not to get my hopes up in case it didn't happen. But it did. They found the most incredible venue - The Secret Island in Kualoa Ranch, Kaneohe, HI.

Enough of me talking, check out some pictures of their amazing destination shore-side ceremony, and don't forget to check out the next blog featuring their beautiful backyard reception!

Also, Ricky Farris did their wedding video, which you can see here!

Sarah + Justin | Thousand Oaks Wedding

One of my very first photography projects in college was to practice window lighting. I photographed some beautiful sisters who were graciously willing to come model for me during the midst of a busy school season! That was my first time visiting Strathearn Historical Park and Museum and I knew it wouldn't be my last!

Jake and I had an absolute blast during Sarah and Justin's wedding. There was SO much contagious laughter throughout the day and I'm sure you can see that just by looking through these sweet moments! The selfless love that these two displayed for each other, their family and friends, and most of all God was so encouraging. We are thankful to have been a part of their day and that we had the opportunity to be able to tell their story.
